After two months of installation and commissioning, a new meltblown line officially entered batch production in mid-July. The line is dedicated to H13 grade media, and monthly output of this grade has risen by about 40%.

What Was Upgraded

The new line improves three areas: die head temperature zoning for a base-weight variation within ±3%, an upgraded electret unit that lifts initial efficiency and efficiency retention, and inline grammage and pressure-drop gauges that log key parameters automatically and flag out-of-spec sections in real time.

In trial runs, H13 media holds filtration efficiency above 99.97% at 0.3 micrometre particles, with initial resistance about 8% lower than the previous line for the same specification. First-batch samples were sent to a third-party lab; results match in-house data.

Impact on Lead Times

H13 capacity was previously the bottleneck, and some specifications waited more than three weeks. With the new line, standard lead times are expected to drop to ten to twelve working days. The sales team is aligning new schedules with existing customers this week, with priority slots for repeat customers with urgent needs.

The company plans to replicate the operating parameters on other machines and continue process validation for H14 grade media.
